The television industry continues to change and sadly not for the better, increasingly we see more and more breakdowns or jobs that just aren’t quite right and when I do I’m reminded of how Derek would champion actors and work with agents to get the best possible deal for an actor, or fight to get them their first TV opportunity when the producer or director hesitated. Above all else Derek was supportive and kind.
