1-year has passed since my dear friend Derek has passed, he would have been overjoyed to see that actors he had a strong belief in and had encouraged and supported were making their way in the toughest of industries. I too miss his calming voice and wise words.
Derek was always very kind and supportive, and genuinely loved actors and the theatre. Terrific company and a lovely man, he will be missed.
